On July 11, 2008 The Steel Pier Remembered Band featuring Jim Craine Appeared at Kennedy Plaza On The Boardwalk In Atlantic City. The Band Featured Many of Those Who Played In The Steel Pier Band.

Special appearances included Ed Hurst who for 20 years hosted Summertime On The Pier and the Catanoso Family who operates Steel Pier Today.

Newschannel40 NBC Anchor Michelle Dawn Mooney sat in with the band and performed two numbers.
